Smetik Application Privacy Policy

1. General provisions

This Privacy Policy defines how personal data of users of the Smetik mobile application (the “Application”) is processed. The rights holder of the Application is an individual (the “Developer”).

2. Developer’s status regarding personal data

The Developer is not a personal data operator within the meaning of the laws of the Russian Federation (Federal Law No. 152-FZ of 27 July 2006 “On Personal Data”) and the laws of the CIS countries.

The Application is a tool (user interface) for working with data. Personal data is processed solely by the user on their own device and, if applicable, on a server organized by the user independently.

3. What data may be used in the Application

The user may enter and store the following data in the Application:

• their own personal data: full name, phone, email, address, passport details, organization information (name and other details), TIN;
• clients’ personal data: similar information needed to prepare documents (contracts, estimates, acts, and annexes).

All such data is stored locally on the user’s device (in localStorage and IndexedDB).

4. Storage and transfer of data

• Local storage: data is stored solely on the user’s device. The Developer has no access to this data and does not collect it.
• Synchronization: server sync is provided as a user interface only. The user organizes and maintains the server, hosting, and API independently. The user is responsible for security, storage, and processing of data during synchronization.

5. Third-party components

The Application includes third-party libraries. The Developer confirms that, in the current configuration, they do not collect, transfer, or process personal data.

6. Responsibility

Responsibility for complying with personal data laws (including having a privacy policy, securing data, obtaining consents from data subjects, and other obligations) rests with the user as the person who organizes and carries out personal data processing.

The Developer is not liable for the user’s personal data processing or for any legal violations committed by the user.

7. Territory

This Policy applies when the Application is used in the Russian Federation and CIS countries. The user must ensure their actions comply with the laws of the country where personal data is actually processed.

9. Changes to the Policy

The Developer may amend this Policy. The current version is published at https://smetik.ru/privacy-policy . When the Policy is updated, the user is notified in the Application on the first launch after the update.
